Expectations

The are many expectations in an honors American Lit class some of which people know or that people are new to hearing.

Be on time everyday. Running into class as the bell rings is not on time. When a person is late it's distracting to the other students. The person who was late might have missed something important for a feature assignment or project. That then could cause them to fail the next assignment or project. When coming in late be per-paired at least. Don't cause even more distractions. Coming to class is on thing but being respectful is another thing.

When a person is asking a question don't be rude by saying oh that's a stupid question. Someone else might of not known the answer that wanted to know the answer as well. While the teacher is talking don't be obnoxious and start talking  and making jokes. Respect not only the people respect the class room. Trash doesn't belong on the floor so don't leave it there. Gum doesn't belong on the bottom of chairs and desks. Get up and spit it out in the trash. It doesn't take all that much to get up and toss it in the trash. Respect is straight forward and so is hard work.

The work and effort that is put in the class says a lot about a person. A hard worker will work their butts off. When a person is determined to get an A.  A Person will  work on something  over and over again until they think it's right. A non hard worker will just slop somethimg together to make it look like something knowing it's not.  That person will settle for a C because it's passing. A person should  try to do there best because lazy people will get nowhere. Don't turn in a assignment that was just thrown together 15 minutes ago.
